ERRY CHRISTMAS, dear friends! If you’ve been following along for awhile, you know that the Nixon family has a tradition of dressing up as pilgrims for Thanksgiving. What you may not know is that, for a couple glorious years, we also dressed up as elves for Christmas.
This photo was from 2007. I had to dig way deep into the archives to find these but, seeing as it’s Thursday (thus, Throwback Thursday, obviously) AND Christmas, it’s like it was ordained by the heavens.
Consider this my Christmas gift to you.
P.S. Bobby visited us one Christmas before we were married and he ALSO got in on this tradition…but do you think, for the life of me, that I can find that photo? No. You’re safe for now, Bobby…
Love to you all, hug those around you extra tight today.
Hahahahahahaha, whoa, I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to recover! These pictures are just too funny!
What a perfect Christmas gift! Thank you, Grace! And a late Merry Christmas to you too. I have a present for you, but I think I’ll give it to your parents so they can give it to you when they visit Miami. :)
I KNOW Stephen just rocked those short shorts! Haha, if you go into the attic, you may be able to find them and bribe him for an encore…
You’re so sweet to think of me with a present! Thank you! That will be great to have my parents bring it down – just extending the Christmas cheer – I’m ALL about it.
